How Specific Can You Truly Be?

The solution is not more specificity, but a true experience of feeling worthy.

Theory of getting what you want

The core idea is that there is nothing on the planet that is impossible for you. So in turn, it now creates a different kind of problem because if nothing is out of reach then how do you trust yourself to actually realise what is it you truly want?

For a long time in our lives we spend this time worrying and we spend a lot of time thinking how we won't get what we really want, doubting the process and our wishes. Rather assuming that what we want is unbelievably out of our reach.

It's like we are always trying to find ways to complicate the process for ourselves and the complications come along with the physical coming-alive of our desires.

The entire practice is based on you knowing you're worthy of things and when you embody that worthiness you move from it. And when you move from that worthiness, the physical and non-physical world starts to rearrange itself to cater to you. It's truly that strong.

So one of the things that happens down this road is that we think of the process of manifestation from a point of view of desperation. We go to the point where we are requesting the cosmos, where we are hoping that things work out in our favour and in that we create a problem.

The problem of specificity

This problem comes across as that of specificity in the desires you have. It is about the need to be specific to actually manifest what you truly desire. If you want a car, the more specific you can be about it, the more likely it will come true for you because you're more likely to take the actions that will get you there.

Now the problem of specificity talks about how you can never be specific enough, but you have to be specific enough at the same time.

I came across an incident of a person who talked about how she was manifesting a specific type of person in her life. She went ahead and actually ended up manifesting this person, but the caveat was that this person was married. The whole theory kind of just turned lopsided for her.

Similarly, there are many incidents where you manifest a situation. It's perfect, but almost not. Something tiny but real goes wrong. Like you can see the summit 10 metres away but the path in between is just gone.

The general coaching guidance on these kinds of circumstances says you have to be more specific. The stated solution you will see everywhere is that the next time, you have to be even more brutally specific.

Then there rises the big question: how specific can you truly be?

Because one of the core assumptions of manifestation is assuming the cosmic abundance, both in the space and in time. In a universe so abundant, how can you truly and completely specify if you have a desire to have a specific kind of person or wealth or experience? The cosmos is full of space, full of time, and in dimensions inaccessible to human experience. The unknowability after a point is the nature of cosmos, not a gap in your practice.

The deep list making is opposite of the practice, so the only solution in the end remains that when you truly desire something, you need to not be brutally specific. Enjoy being specific as much as you can imagine, and imagination itself is a fun skill to develop.

State and doubt

After a point, it's all about working within. About having that embodiment within that you are worthy of the experiences you desire. The problem was not the lack of anticipation, but the problem was the lack of the state. The problem was me assuming that I'm not worthy of them.

The universe is never on a budget. It's never denying you anything.

My two cents in the end will be that when you're working on a practice like this, assume freely. The world is literally your playground. It's something that you do freely but it's very important to keep watching the state with which you're demanding because if the state is not of someone who actually believes they can have what they truly want, the cosmos on your behalf will always find a way to serve that to you.

Your doubt will turn into the poison that makes your absolute favourite dish inedible.
